The AVFS actively welcomes individuals who are looking to join this award-winning team. Efficient delivery of the emergency response relies on a harmonised team comprising of not only operational firefighters, but radio control operators, maintenance technicians and administrative roles. The challenging environment is highly rewarding and provides a fantastic opportunity that can be beneficial to professional career development. No experience is required for operational roles in the AVFS as all necessary training is provided. However, experience for the support roles is preferred. Any individuals interested in opportunities with the AVFS, should preferably live within a 30-mile radius of the Shuttleworth Collection.
