The AVFS collaborates closely with Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and has a formal Memorandum of Understanding in place to recognise this. BFRS has further supported the AVFS with donations of two Land Rover fire appliances in 2010 and a Volvo rescue pump in 2017. These vehicles have been excellent additions to the specialist requirements of the AVFS.
