We are appealing widely to individuals, companies, trusts and other bodies for help towards building and equiping our new fire station to enable us to continue supporting flying and other events throughout Bedfordshire.

The Shuttleworth Trust have kindly agreed to provide us with a new fire station building which we now need to fit out and equip so we can carry on with our work protecting the worlds aviation heritage and the people of Bedfordshire.

How you can help us to raise the sums we need?

Below we set out some of the popular methods of giving and ways in which you can help us:

By a Gift Aid gift
If you are a UK tax payer, the Airfield Volunteer Fire Service can claim an additional 28% on the face value of your gift from Revenue and Customs at no additional cost to you.  Simply make your cheque payable to Airfield Volunteer Fire Service and we will deal with the rest and make the return to Revenue and Customs.

Company gifts
Since the Airfield Volunteer Fire Service is a registered charity, Charity Number 1094593, gifts made to us by companies may be set against corporate profits.

We will be delighted if you decide to remember us in your will.  Please contact us if you would like guidance, we can put you in touch with the necessary professional advice.

Transfer of Assets
If you would like to support us by a transfer of assets or shares, or indeed any other method, we will be delighted to make the appropriate advice and forms available to you.
